While our core focus at BitcoinVN Shop since its inception in 2017 was to support the client base of our parent company BitcoinVN – Vietnam’s premier Bitcoin exchange (est. 2014) – in removing the hurdles they face when it comes to taking self-custody of their coins (“Not your keys, not your coins!”), we’ve also consistently extended our support to a wider subset of creators in the Bitcoin space.
Specifically, those who create by the Proof-of-Work standard – real works of passion, scarce by nature, and made to build and strengthen the bonds between members of the global Bitcoin community.
As such, we’re happy to onboard another artist from the Bitcoin community: Minami of Making Waves from Japan. Her artworks – originally created in honour of the Satoshi Flea Market by the local Bitcoin community in Saigon and first exhibited earlier this summer – are now available on BitcoinVN Shop for those interested in acquiring these unique items.
Her work aims to strengthen understanding of Bitcoin by offering small-batch items priced in sats and made specifically for Bitcoin events and communities – available globally and procurable through Bitcoin, the world’s first decentralized global currency.

The Saigon Satoshi Flea Market took place for the third time in July 2025, drawing increased attention from both international visitors and vendors. Notably, there was strong interest from Japan – where recent developments such as the Tokyo Bitcoin Base and the establishment of Blockstream’s Asia HQ are fueling Tokyo’s rise as an emerging Bitcoin superpower in Asia.

As all of the currently available items were crafted by Minami in honour of the Saigon Bitcoin Community, BitcoinVN Shop will forego its usual sales commissions and donate them to the community treasury to further strengthen the development of a strong local network of Bitcoiners who share and uphold the values of said community.
