The third-quarter results for the most popular hardware wallets in Vietnam are in, and there’s been a shift in the rankings.
Once again, Ledger wallets remained the most popular in the Vietnamese market, increasing their lead with nearly three-quarters of all hardware wallets sold in Vietnam being a Ledger device.
However, the third quarter brought a surprising change among Bitcoin-only wallet providers. For the first time in 2024, Coinkite’s popular Coldcard wallet overtook the Blockstream Jade as the most sold Bitcoin-only hardware wallet in Vietnam.
While Coldcard devices are generally priced higher than the more entry-level Blockstream Jade (the only hardware wallet supporting Liquid assets), Coinkite, based in Canada, has built a strong fanbase within the hardcore Bitcoin community, making Coldcard the go-to device for securing Bitcoin stacks.
