How to Use a Satscard

How to Withdraw Funds from a Satscard

To withdraw funds, you need to unlock a slot (by default, the first slot), then export the private key in WIF format.

Next, import the WIF into a compatible Bitcoin wallet and perform a “sweep” operation to transfer the entire balance out of the card.

How to View the Deposit Address

The first slot is pre-configured, so you can simply scan the QR code on the back of the card to send funds. For additional slots, just tap the card against an NFC-enabled smartphone (no app required), and a webpage will appear displaying the deposit address. Some wallets with NFC support can even display the QR code immediately after tapping, making the process fast and independent of third parties.

Note: Once a slot has been unsealed, it cannot be sealed again. The unsealing process is permanent because the card records this change in its memory and it cannot be reversed.

How to Check Your Satscard Balance with a Smartphone
