Further Service Adjustments Quarter 3 2026

As Vietnam transitions towards a more regulated crypto-asset market, Team BitcoinVN is adjusting its service offering in line with the evolving regulatory framework.

In addition to the previously announced closure of VBTC – one of the world’s longest-running centralized trading platforms, with a history dating back to 2014 – further adjustments are gradually being introduced across our range of services. As part of this process, we are also reducing the availability of certain Vietnam-facing services.

VND deposits are no longer generally available, and we currently cannot provide a timeline for whether or when this functionality may return for the broader public.

Long-standing customers with questions about their existing relationship with BitcoinVN or the availability of specific services are welcome to contact our team directly.

New account registrations for Vietnamese citizens are no longer available.

The services provided through BitcoinVN Shop are expected to remain available as usual. Customers will continue to be able to purchase authentic hardware wallets and other security devices from a trusted team that has served Vietnam’s Bitcoin market since early 2014. While we are also working through a corporate restructuring intended to separate BitcoinVN Shop from the wider activities of BVN Group, we do not currently expect this process to affect the service, warranties or other customer protections associated with purchases from BitcoinVN Shop.

Separately, we are working with relevant partners and stakeholders on a transition framework for the existing BitcoinVN BTM network ahead of 1 September 2026. For the time being, the network remains accessible, although further adjustments may be introduced as the transition progresses.

Further updates will follow as the situation develops.
