Mullvad, the Swedish-born VPN provider has recently expanded its payment options to include the privacy-focused cryptocurrency Monero.
Mullvad, which provides a VPN without the need for signing up for the service via potentially compromising personal information, has been a frontrunner for a long-time in the acceptance of cryptocurrencies.
The privacy-oriented Swedish firm started accepting Bitcoin payments in July 2010, at a time when one Bitcoin traded at below 0,10$.
Compared to various other VPN providers which are known or suspected to be “honeypots” operated by malicious parties, Mullvad does not collect any activity logs and does not collect user data.
