USDT (Tether) – the most popular Blockchain-based Stablecoin – can now also be used to send remittances to any bank account in Vietnam
Following suit last week’s announcement by mother company BitcoinVN, Cash2VN enabled the ability for its clients to send remittances to Vietnam via USDT (Tether).
“We have observed a dramatic increase in usage of Tether over the past year so it was a logical step toadd support for it to our range of services. Customers generally prefer to use Stablecoins for purely transactional purposes since volatility is no longer a concern – while service providers are able to offer tighter spreads due to the absence of volatility risk and the cost of hedging that goes along with it.” said Bao Phuong Nguyen, the CEO of BitcoinVN who also heads the OTC desk of their operation.
Cash2VN users have the ability to send remittances or pay bills to any recipient who has a Vietnamese bank account.
