{"id":4215,"date":"2023-04-27T10:12:29","date_gmt":"2023-04-27T03:12:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shop.bitcoinvn.io\/?p=4215"},"modified":"2023-04-28T19:49:45","modified_gmt":"2023-04-28T12:49:45","slug":"trust-wallet-browser-extension-proven-unsecure","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bitcoinvn.io\/shop\/trust-wallet-browser-extension-proven-unsecure\/","title":{"rendered":"Trust Wallet Browser extension proven unsecure &#8211; all funds at risk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is the year 2023 &#8211; and for curious reasons some people are still storing more than pocket change in a Browser wallet(!).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the newest case demonstrating that this is an incredibly bad idea if you prefer to keep your money safe, the Trust Wallet browser extension was <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nobsbitcoin.com\/trust-wallet-browser-extension-vulnerability\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">revealed to be provably unsecure<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> since many months.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To understand how bad this specific incident was:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;Seed generation of Trust Wallet [browser extension] was flawed, the total entropy was only 32 bits.
