While a bootstrapped Vietnam-based Bitcoin business is for obvious reasons not as \u201cawash\u201d in funds as some of the high-powered US-based startups and companies, the team at BitcoinVN has since ever looked to play our role with the means given to provide high impact support to our respective communities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Co-Founders Alex and Dominik both originated out of the Frankfurt Bitcoin Community and still maintain strong ties with the people, culture and traditions of the \u201cMain metropole\u201d in the state of Hesse.<\/span><\/p>\n

Frankfurt, a capital of trade and commerce in the heart of Europe, has forged over the past few years <\/span>its official partnership with Ho Chi Minh City,<\/span> involving several high-profile visits of business delegations visiting the other city to develop stronger ties in trade, education and cultural exchange.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Bitcoin Frankfurt meetup<\/span><\/a> was launched in summer of 2013, recently celebrated its tenth anniversary and serves as a monthly gathering spot for friends of the orange coin in the whole Rhein-Main area.<\/span><\/p>\n

The presence of the \u201cTower of \u20acvil\u201d in Frankfurt\u2019s East End makes the struggle between old and new monetary system an especially apparent contrast.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Euro has now been around for a bit more than two decades, the Frankfurt Bitcoin Community for over one decade – and at this point one can be fairly confident that the latter will outlast the sooner.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Frankfurt Bitcoin Community gathers in person every third Thursday of the month in the heart of Frankfurt-Bornheim (\u201cBernem\u201d in local idiom) at Zentrale FFM, which has been the birthplace and traditional host of the community since its first days.<\/span><\/p>\n
