When BitcoinVN launched as Vietnam\u2019s first Bitcoin exchange in early 2014, the industry looked very different.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>idea of stablecoins had barely come into existence<\/span><\/a>, Bitcoin dominated the landscape, Litecoin lingered in the background, Dogecoin was only a few months old, and Ethereum existed only as an early idea and a draft whitepaper.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since then, our model has expanded from a simple Bitcoin on\/off-ramp in Vietnam to a broader global bridging service for digital assets.\u00a0 Over time, our role has shifted from primarily customer-facing (B2C) to increasingly serving as infrastructure middleware – powering other service providers and allowing them <\/span>to build and launch products quickly on top of our API<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

As such, the time has also come to renew our affiliate model offerings.<\/span><\/p>\n

Under the previous structure, users earned a fixed, volume-based percentage per swap – a simple and static setup that made sense in our early days as a straightforward Bitcoin on\/off-ramp.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, with more than a hundred different assets and settlement methods supported, that fixed model no longer reflects the reality of how our service operates. The ecosystem has evolved \u2014 and so has our role within it.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is therefore time to shift from a static commission structure to a <\/span>revenue-share oriented model.<\/b><\/p>\n

Under the new model, partners earn 10% of all exchange fee revenue – including fees from same-asset (intra-asset) swaps.<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The old model did <\/span>not<\/span><\/i> account for <\/span>intra-asset swaps<\/b> – simply because that wasn\u2019t really a thing \u201cback in the day.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, however, <\/span>moving stablecoins across chains<\/span><\/a>, unwrapping and rewrapping assets, or shifting<\/span> Bitcoin between L1 and L2s like Liquid or Lightning<\/span><\/a> has become a very real and increasingly common use case.<\/span><\/p>\n

These types of swaps are now rewarded as well.<\/b><\/p>\n

Overall, you should expect roughly <\/span>2\u20134\u00d7 higher earnings<\/b> under the new model – depending on the type of user flow you generate and the assets they interact with.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, you now have the option to <\/span>add your own mark-up<\/b> when integrating via our API. Any mark-up you set is entirely yours; <\/span>100% of that revenue flows directly to you<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n
