Rewards are still paid out for all eligible swaps involving the underlying asset &#8211; sometimes at <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">quite extreme rates<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To avoid misleadingly high \u201coutsized\u201d APR numbers, BitcoinVN applies <\/span><b>minimum thresholds<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> before APRs are displayed publicly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Vaults must meet*:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A minimum balance of around <\/span><b>$500<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A quarterly turnover of (at least) roughly <\/span><b>$3,000 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">[at which point the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FDAPR<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> number display activates]<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The reason is simple: with too few funds in a vault, even small payouts can result in exaggerated percentage returns &#8211; for example, a vault with just $100 staked could temporarily show triple-digit APRs. These figures are technically correct but would rapidly normalize once more users join in.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At which point you\u2019ll inevitably have users complaining that \u201cit was a trap\u201d &#8211; when they realize the displayed 587% APR doesn\u2019t hold once more funds flow into a (relatively) empty vault <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoinvn.io\/news\/how-does-staking-on-bitcoinvn-work\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Read more about how our vault and APR design works here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By setting these requirements, BitcoinVN aims to keep the displayed APRs meaningful and reflective of real-world performance rather than short-term statistical noise.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even if APRs aren\u2019t visible yet, <\/span><b>all active vaults continue to generate rewards<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for current stakers &#8211; the displayed data will update automatically once the vaults reach the operational thresholds.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>How often are the APR numbers updated?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The BitcoinVN staking page doesn\u2019t display updates in real time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">APR figures are generally refreshed several times per day as new data flows in from our backend.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So if you don\u2019t see changes immediately after a deposit or reward payout, give it a little time &#8211; the displayed APR should adjust within a couple of hours. \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Note:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The displayed APR may lag behind actual payouts &#8211; it\u2019s a reference figure, not a live reflection of current rewards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The BitcoinVN staking page serves as a <\/span><b>lagging indicator<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, offering an approximate overview of current market conditions for our staking (liquidity provision) product on the swap exchange.
