The year is still young, but for Vietnamese Bitcoin enthusiasts it is starting off with a bang – CryptoEcon2020 will take place in the coming week in Vietnam’s Capital
While Vietnam is not exactly blessed with a large variety of high-quality Bitcoin-oriented events, the Year of the Rat starts out with an event which you certainly do not want to miss out on if you are deeply interested in the economic fundamentals behind Bitcoin.
CryptoEcon2020 is scheduled to take place at the upcoming leap year weekend in Hanoi; the event is hosted and organized by the Libbitcoin Institute and Libbitcoin Lead Developer Eric Voskuil who already in 2019 offered the local communities in Hanoi and Saigon some insights in his work, expertise and thoughts around Bitcoin and the fundamental economic principles behind it which provide Satoshi’s creation its very unique set of value and security characteristics.
The event will feature some prolific speakers from various sectors of the Bitcoin world; from people like Steve Barbour who is pioneering Bitcoin mining in various remote areas of the globe; “Bitcoin revolutionary” Amir Taaki who has one of the first developers working on the Bitcoin codebase 10 years ago; Jack Mallers who is surprising the world monthly with his creations utilizing Bitcoin’s Lightning Network or various investors and fund managers in the space from firms such as Lemniscap, HODL capital or Maple Investment Group.
