When you want to see something in the world, make it happen.

This is the mindset with which we have forced our ideas into the world since we began our entrepreneurial journey back in 2013.

No Bitcoin Exchange in Vietnam?

We made it happen.

No Bitcoin ATM in Vietnam?

We made it happen.

No Lightning adoption?

We made it happen.

No Nostr adoption?

We intend to make it happen.

If you’re reading this, we assume you already grasp the critical state we’re in when it comes to long-distance communication and information sharing across peers of communities.

The rise of the Internet occurred during the rare anomaly of a unipolar world order, where tools and infrastructure were built with a focus on efficiency and convenience, often at the expense of resilience and sustainability in hostile conditions.

Now, as global conflicts intensify, tools once built with a priority focus on efficiency and convenience over resilience and sustainability are being weaponized, sabotaged, or deteriorating under adversarial pressure.

In this environment, relying on highly centralized systems – prime targets for those seeking control or to inflict damage – is risky.

If your goal is to survive and thrive in a world where outside players may quickly turn against you, depending on them is not a smart move.

We’re all well aware that centralized social media platforms like Twitter/X, Meta, Telegram, and their equivalents worldwide are under increasing pressure and scrutiny. Many have even been actively used in Psy-Op and cyber warfare against adversarial players on the geopolitical chessboard.

These platforms are not a safe place to rely on for maintaining your social graph. With just one click by a single individual, your profile, data, and connections could vanish forever.

Enter Nostr.

First and foremost: Nostr is designed with censorship resistance in mind.

It’s important to note that Nostr isn’t primarily a privacy tool. If privacy is your main concern, there are other tools likely better suited for that purpose.

Nostr’s focus is on giving you ownership of your social graph and your data, while ensuring they’re distributed across a broad network of relays (including your own, if you choose to run one!). This prevents any single entity from having the power to erase you from the digital world.

Nostr redefines the power asymmetry created by the highly centralized BigTech social media platforms.

With the distinct possibility of a new digital “iron curtain” forming, where people, groups, and organizations may be blocked from communicating across geopolitical divides, we want to play our part in keeping communication flows intact – even in times of crisis.

“Success depends upon previous preparation, and without such preparation, there is sure to be failure.” – Confucius

The trendlines are clear (which is why we advocate more self-hosting). The world is entering a period of grand reorganization, driven by some of the most significant geopolitical, economic, and technological shifts in centuries.

The past is not coming back, but the future is coming closer any day.

The time to build on Nostr is now, and we encourage you to join us.

Create an account, sign up for your first paid relay (relying solely on public relays isn’t a great UX!), and start following some of your favorite Bitcoiners, macro commentators, philosophers, and authors who have already made the move to Nostr.

Contribute to the Nostr infrastructure.

Whether by improving the protocol, building your own apps to bring new use cases to existing and new users, running your own relay, or supporting those who do the hard work by donating some Sats to their cause or subscribing to their products. Spread the word about their efforts!

Remember, no one is going to build the future you want for you.

No one is coming to save you. You have to take action.

Get involved, contribute, find your community, collaborate, and help bring this vision to life.
